HEALTH CARE TRAINING
Recipe for Success
Care OPTIONS Plus, LLC offers affordable training to those with the desire to help those in need of personal care assistance. Upon successful completion of state approved training, a certificate will be issued. Designation as a personal care aide, medication aide, or certified nurse aide opens doors for employment through private individuals, assisted living facilities, hospitals, longterm care facilities, and home care agencies. Our Aide classes offer hands on demonstrations plus experience sensory loss that occur in the elderly and disabled.
NURSE AIDE
(140 hour program approved by Virginia Board of Nursing)
The 6 week (Monday through Thursday) program will prepare the student to work within their scope of practice as a Nurse Aide in the state of Virginia. Completion of the program qualifies student to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) Examination. Successful completion of the NNAAP, leads to licensure as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). Designation as a CNA provides employment opportunities in hospitals, long term care facilities or in homes of individuals who require personal care assistance.

MEDICATION AIDE
(68 hour program approved by Virginia Board of Nursing)
The 3 ½ week (Monday through Thursday) program prepares students to properly and safely administer medications in Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), group homes, correctional facilities, residential facilities, and adult day care centers. Successful completion of the program qualifies student to take the state Registered Medication Aide exam. Prior to applying for the medication aide training, you must have successfully completed personal care aide training, direct care staff training, or certified nursing assistant training.

PERSONAL CARE AIDE
(40 hour program approved by the Department of Medical Assistance Services)
This program offers affordable training to those with the desire to help those in need of personal care assistance. Upon successful completion of the training, a certificate will be issued designating the student as a Personal Care Aide (PCA). Designation as a PCA opens doors for employment with private individuals, assisted living facilities, and home care agencies. Schedule varies for this class.
THIS CLASS INCLUDES HANDS ON SKILLS DEMONSTRATIONS PLUS THE ABILITY TO EXPERIENCE SENSORY LOSS THAT OCCUR IN THE ELDERLY & DISABLED.
